Updating Th Fun

A Quick Diversion: Nope

The Actual News:

I updated the staff page. Why? Because I could.

Nothing much got changed, I just added links to everyone's websites. Check it out, Kaiserin Myuu, BPM.exe and I are all on deviantART. YOU should be too. Good times.

I also updated the Missingno page a bit. I added Ruby/Sapphire's Missingno's LV. 100 stats (courtesy of Kaiserin Myuu) and a little stat teaser for you (in grey). Enjoy!

Some New Pokémon TCG News

By Nick15 [Friday, August 22 2003]

A Quick Diversion: Nope.

The Actual News:

This is interesting.

First off, TPC announced that the official release date of ADV4 is... October. ... They told us that already. They STILL don't have an exact DAY for it though. Bleh. The email they sent through their mailing list had a little excerpt on it, here's what it said (via Babelfish):

It participates with the "pocket monster ruby sapphire" "magma group Aqua group", "the magma group" deck, as "an aqua group" deck Pokemon appearing for the first time in card game ADV decides! Their Pokemon it entered becoming the card which was and had what kind of ability? And even in trainer card expectation expands, it is the up-to-date work of main point attention! Because it keeps announcing detailed information, with "Toreenaasyubusaito", defect The umbrella it will check!

Well... apparently the two ADV4 mini-decks ARE based on Team Magma and Team Aqua... so THAT'S news...

In other news, just a friendly reminder that Japanese players do NOT have access to the Regi-ex promos, that's something they'll get at the end of the year (I'm told). Meaning that, no, sorry, there will NOT be any Regi-ex's in Sandstorm (provided that Nintendo's trying to be FAIR by not giving the Western players cards that the Japanese players haven't gotten yet).

Thirdly, apparently now you can get cute Pokémon TCG animations on your (Japanese) celular phone.

Good times? If you have a cel phone, yes.

That's all.

Eon Ticket Summer Tour winding down

By LittleOD2 [Thursday, August 21 2003]

A Quick Diversion: It is, I swear.

The Actual News:

For those who do not know, The Pokémon Company, from July 19th to September 1st, has been sending the Pikachu Cars to visit a bunch of Toys 'R Us stores around the nation.

They're there to give away the Eon Ticket--a special in-game ticket for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire that allows you to travel to Southern Island. Without the Eon Ticket, it is impossible to get to Southern Island within your game (unless you cheat; not a good idea). Once you're on Southern Island, you'll have an opportunity to capture Latios (in Ruby) or Latias (in Sapphire).

Plus, they're also giving away a bunch of free Pokémon merchandise! That's always fun!

If you go to one, they'll also let you try Pokémon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire. The game is coming out sometime at the end of this month.

So, what are you waiting for? Go to one of the Eon Ticket Tour locations today, before the tour ends for the summer!
